67 Natural Gas Boiler A hot water boiler is a widely used piece of equipment that produces hot water. A natural gas hot water boiler combusts natural gas in an integrated fire box, generating heat, which is then transferred to circulating water via a heat exchanger. The efficiency of the boiler can be increased by using heat from condensate to preheat water.
