63 Hot Water Radiator A hot water radiator provides space heating via radiation and local convection. Hot water is circulated through the radiator, with the geometry of the radiator designed to maximize the surface area for heat transfer. Hot water radiators have a 2-pipe connection, with a supply and return pipe for hot water. Most radiators come with a valve to control the amount of heating provided to each space.
